United Airlines: The Number one Airline
Opening Opportunities & Modeling Inclusivity
Wings on the Spectrum is a specialized airport rehearsal programs created for individuals with autism spectrum disorders and intellectual or developmental disabilities. These programs aim to reduce the stress often associated with air travel for families with children who have these needs. Participants have the chance to practice key steps of the airport experience—such as entering the terminal, obtaining boarding passes, passing through security, and boarding an aircraft. Additionally, airport staff, airline crews, TSA agents, and other personnel benefit by engaging in a structured environment where they can learn to better serve individuals with special needs.

Special thanks to United Airlines for opening up meaningful opportunities for families and for setting a strong example of inclusivity within the travel industry.
